Group Obedience - 6 classes

Service Description

This is a really fun course where you and your puppy or dog will learn through play. You'll develop understanding of how dogs actually learn and retain information, how to effectively imprint the behaviors you want, how to maintain those behaviors and how to build on imprinting to continue your dog's education throughout his life. Classes will work on socialization and teaching the basics (focus, recall, sit, heel, down and place). You will also learn exercises to address behaviors at home such chewing and jumping on people. As with all things in life, you get out what you put in. Remember, you're going to be learning as much or more than your dog. If you attend class and incorporate what you learn into your daily life, you will see a significant change in your dog. 5-10 minutes a day is all it takes. If you don't put in the work, you won't get the full benefit. No special equipment is needed. Just a collar and leash. More detailed instructions will be sent prior to the first session. Expect to spend 5-10 minutes spread throughout the day to practice. As with all my courses, I am available between lessons to answer questions. This support continues after the course completes so know I'm always here to help. My goal is for you and your dog to be build a special relationship that enables you to be successful and have fun together!
